At Genealogy Gal, a personalized approach to genealogy research is taken. I work closely with each client to understand their needs and goals and tailor my research to meet those needs. The ultimate goal is to help clients uncover their family's unique story.

Accuracy is taken very seriously at Genealogy Gal. All information is verified through multiple sources to ensure that it is correct before including it in your family tree. Privacy of information and records is also ensured.

Getting started with Genealogy Gal is easy. Simply contact us to set up a consultation. During the consultation, we'll discuss your goals and needs for the project and we'll develop a customized plan for your research.  Once I have reviewed the information from the consultation I will have a better idea of the estimated research time needed and will provide an estimate. If you agree to the estimate and terms, payment is required upfront through Square. From there, I'll get to work uncovering your family's history.  

The more information and list of documents that you can provide initially would be the most helpful. And the more specific you can be as to the goal you are trying to reach through my research is even better. Items to include are whether you have started a tree on a particular website, Ancestry, MyHeritage etc., and if you have had your DNA tested. If you've done some research, please mention how far back you've been able to go and what time period you are seeking further research. 

Depending on the records available and the amount of research you are looking to have performed, I can research as far back as I am able. A private tree will be built on Ancestry.com although I have access to numerous other sites to obtain records that I will provide to you as well.

Some documents may not be available online and may need to be requested. If you would like for me to purchase them I will do so and then provide receipts for reimbursement.

You will be provided a full report of my findings and copies of any historical documents obtained in my research.

It is important to note that there are no guarantees in genealogical research. I will exhaust every avenue that I am able to in my research however I am unable to confirm that I will find exactly who you are searching for.
